I placed an order on November 20 for my girlfriend's birthday present. At the time the company made no mention of it being a pre-order.
On December 13th, I reached out asking where my order was. Here was the response: "Thank you so much for your email. I just wanted to be upfront — this item was a pre-order, and our stock has taken a little longer than expected to arrive, which does mean there’s a chance it may not arrive in time for Christmas."
They didn't say when it would ship so I asked, and they said: "Thanks so much for your email. This will be sent next week."
It wasn't. So I reached out again on December 22nd, and they said: "Thank you so much for your email, unfortunately our warehouse is still trying to work through a massive backlog of orders so this will not reach you in time for Christmas."
I canceled the order. A company that indicates they have product in stock (when it's really a pre-sale) and does not proactively reach out to customers to let them know what's going on with their orders isn't a company that's worth doing business with in my opinion.
Love!!!
