MY TIPS TO SURVIVE WINTER

Winter is here …… BUT it’s not all bad 😆

Tip #1: Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!

One of the best ways to keep your skin hydrated during the winter is to moisturize regularly (even when you haven’t shaved or seen your legs for 3 months 🫢). A good lip balm is a must-have for keeping your lips soft and smooth, look for products that contain natural ingredients like cocoa butter, coconut oil, and olive oil, which are known for their moisturizing properties.https://www.getbalmy.com/pages/our-product

Tip #2: Take care of your hands and feet!!

Your hands and feet are often the first to feel the effects of winter weather. Mine are already as dry as an old boot but I’ve ordered my moisturising goodies! (Winter snuck up on us didn’t it?!) To keep them soft and supple, try using a rich hand cream and foot balm regularly. You can even put on a pair of cozy socks or gloves after applying to help lock in the moisture.  I do this overnight with my feet and it helps loads! Try Buff wand for amazing (and cute) moisturising jelly mittens and socks!

Tip #3: Stay active and get outside!!

Winter can be a time of hibernation it’s really easy to get into a bit of a rut, but staying active and engaged can help boost your mood and keep you feeling energized. Try taking up a new hobby like learning how to make bread or pizza from scratch (I experimented with stuffed crust already 🤤) and then invite some friends over for a wine and show off your cooking skills!  Bundle up and go for a bush walk and take a flask of hot choccie or plan a winter getaway to a cozy cabin in the mountains.https://concreteplayground.com/sydney/travel-leisure/travel/winter-cabins-australia/amp

Tip #4: Layer up and stay warm!

When it comes to winter fashion, layering is key. Not only does it keep you warm, but it also allows you to easily adjust your clothing as the temperature changes throughout the day. Invest in warm and cozy pieces like a down or puffer jacket and snuggly wool scarf, and knit beanie to keep you toasty all season long, maybe a pair of gum boots! 😉

Tip #5: Embrace the calm of winter, spend time with family and friends, enjoy the fire place, a homemade soup or a glass of red by a fire or under a blanket.

Getting through winter doesn't have to be a daunting task (even though the first cold snap has me running for my duvet - but my toddler won’t allow it 😅 )By taking care of your skin, staying active and engaged, layering up, and embracing the beauty of the season, you can make the most of this peaceful time of year.

And of course, don't forget to keep your lips soft and smooth with a lip balm bracelet – the perfect winter accessory for anyone loves cute and convenient!
